about our custom handmade guitars

The process of hand making guitars firstly begins with the initial tree / timber selection, and proceeds through a number of various refinement stages. Matching timbers with complimentary species, matching pickups to tone-woods, and matching custom body and neck shapes, nitro cellulose clear and color finishes and hardware to create great tone and awe inspiring looks. Guy Mallaby brings together all aspects of his instrument making knowledge to create beautifully handmade instruments aesthetically, ergonomically and tonally beautiful, with a natural and impeccable custom made fit, feel, and undeniably amazing sound.
