do you make your own custom pickups ?
Mallaby Guitars does not make custom pickups. As a guitar maker I prefer to keep focused only on the guitar making construction process and leave the custom pickups to other professionals in this field. And you'll be happy to know that, when it comes to pickups, we order in custom handmade and name brand pickups so that we can all make sure that everyone is 100% happy with the result. Whatever your needs are, we've got you covered.
Is there a payment plan available for my handmade instrument order ?
Mallaby Guitars allows two options for payment. You can make full payment up-front for your order, or you can choose to take up our 3-payment plan. Our 3-part payment plan lets you separate the payments of your custom made instrument order into these 3 steps. Step 1 is the main deposit of 50% of the total amount. The first 50% deposit allows for the purchase of all your materials and hardware and for the build to begin. Step 2 is a further 25% part-payment which is due at the time your instrument is ready to be spray painted. This allows for the purchase of your custom colour paint and spray time. Step 3 is your final part-payment to conclude your purchase in accordance with coming to the end of the build process. We accept payment via bank transfer or cash only.
